General Settings

Optimize your LeadDec experience with crucial General Settings. Control opportunities, manage contacts, and ensure accurate communication with options like allowing duplicate entries, merging contacts, validating communication details, and more. Tailor these settings to streamline your business's specific needs and workflow efficiency.

1. Begin by selecting the 'Settings' option.

1 To begin, click on "Settings".

2. Scroll down to locate the 'General Settings'.

3. Next, choose whether to enable 'Duplicate Opportunities' for a single contact.

3 Click on "Allow Duplicate Opportunity".

4. Then, decide if incoming messages from Facebook should be merged with matching existing contacts.

4 Click on "Merge Facebook Contacts By Name".

5. Toggle to 'Disable Contact Timezone' if needed.

5 Click on "Disable Contact Timezone".

6. Additionally, consider marking emails as 'Invalid due to Hard Bounce'.

6 Next up, click on "Mark Emails as Invalid due to Hard Bounce".

7 Then, click on "Validate Phone numbers when first SMS is sent to a new conta...".

8. You can also choose to verify email addresses when sending the first email to a new contact.

9. Next, if activated, system will automatically add an opt-out message to the first bulk SMS.

10. If needed, add sender information to your first bulk SMS to stay compliant.

10 Following that, click on "Make SMS compliant by adding a sender information.".

11. Finally, ensure to add unsubscribe links to your emails for recipients to opt-out easily.
