How to Import Phone Numbers from ClickSend to LeadDec

Step 1: Creating a Tag for Organization

Before importing anything, it's crucial to organize where these contacts will reside within LeadDec. To prevent any mix-up:

1. Navigate to Settings in LeadDec.

2. Scroll down to the Tags section and select Create New Tag.

3. Name your tag “ClickSend” for easy identification of imported contacts.

Step 2: Exporting Contacts from ClickSend

With your tag ready, head over to ClickSend to prepare your contacts for export:

1. Locate the list of contacts you intend to import.

2. Choose the export option, which might take a few seconds to process.

Step 3: Importing Contacts to LeadDec

With your contacts exported, it's time to bring them into LeadDec:

1. Go to the Contacts section in LeadDec.

2. Select the Import Contact option and upload the file from ClickSend.

3. During the import process, align the fields correctly. Ensure the phone number field from the file matches the phone number field in LeadDec. Other fields like last name and email address should also be correctly mapped if available.

4. Before completing the import, choose to Add Tag and select the "ClickSend" tag you created. This step ensures all imported contacts are correctly categorized.

Once the import is complete, you may want to engage with these contacts immediately. Here's a quick method to do so:

1. Use the tag filter to view all contacts tagged with “ClickSend”.

To further enhance engagement, consider setting up an automation for the newly imported contacts:

1. In LeadDec, navigate to Automations and create a new workflow.

2. Set the trigger to be the addition of the "ClickSend" tag.

3. Define the subsequent actions, like sending a personalized text message or email to welcome these contacts to your LeadDec ecosystem.
